Ketamine integration support in Denver

The part after the session: making sense of what came up, in your real life.

Non-clinical support. Not therapy, not medical advice, and not a substitute for either.

What it is

Turning a few hours into something you can use.

Integration is looking back at what came up in a session and deciding what, if anything, to do with it in everyday life.

01

Reflect

Talk through what stood out, or what didn't. All of it counts.

02

Translate

Connect it to the job, the kids, the bills, the art. What's worth keeping?

03

Take small steps

One or two doable things, not a life overhaul.

Why it matters

Life speeds back up fast.

A session can feel vivid or strange, and the effects are short-acting. 1,2 Then Monday arrives, and what felt clear can blur. Integration gives it somewhere to land: a set time, a few honest questions, and someone steady to talk with.

Honest note: integration isn't a medical treatment, and I won't promise outcomes. Research suggests ketamine may help some people; results vary. 2

How I help

Steady, practical, built around your calendar.

  • It starts in preparation, with an intention to come back to. See how preparation works.
  • Scheduled conversations after your session, timed around your life and your provider's instructions.
  • Simple tools, like the journaling prompts for after your session.
  • Real-life focus. Single parent, burned-out professional, artist, comic: we work with the life you actually have.
  • Clear lanes. Medical questions go to your medical team; clinical needs go to your mental health provider.

What I do

  • Preparation and intention-setting
  • Session-day support, within what the medical partnership allows
  • Integration conversations

What licensed medical partners do

  • Screening and deciding whether ketamine is appropriate
  • Prescribing, dosing, and administration
  • Monitoring and medical follow-up

What it isn't

Clear about the limits.

  • Not therapy. I'm a trained facilitator, not a therapist, counselor, or clinician.
  • Not medical advice on medication, doses, or routes.
  • Not crisis care. In crisis, call or text 988.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is integration support the same as therapy?

No. It's non-clinical. I'm not a therapist or counselor, and these conversations aren't therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.

Can it fit alongside the care I already have?

Yes. It sits alongside your existing care, not in place of it. If something important comes up, I'll encourage you to bring it to your mental health or medical provider.

Are you an integration coach?

Some people search for an “integration coach” or “guide.” I'm a trained facilitator, certified through Ballen Medical's practitioner training, and not licensed as a therapist, counselor, or medical provider.

When does integration happen?

We plan the timing together during preparation, so it fits your schedule and your medical provider's instructions.

What if something feels like a crisis?

Integration support isn't crisis care. Call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
